Lessons are offered for ages 6 and up.
All lessons are on well trained horses in a safe environment.
You're welcome to come for a tour and meet the horses before you make any commitment to ride.

Adult beginners are always welcome.

If you have always wanted to try riding and never got the chance as a child please come out.
This sport is not just a kid's sport.
We encourage each rider to ride at least once a week to keep progressing and working towards their goals.
However the lessons can be booked at any time, wether that is more than once a week or even bi-weekly.

Private lessons are $30 dollars
 Group lessons are $25.
Theory lessons are $10
All lessons are an hour long.

What you'll need:
A certified horseback riding helmet
Sturdy boots or shoes with a small heel
For more information follow this link to learn more about riding attire.

We have helmets we rent out for $2.00 per lesson if you choose not to buy your own when you start.
Eddy and Scotti playing in the snow

We also offer theory lessons for 10 dollars each, also an hour long. These lessons range in topic from how to get a horse ready for a show, to how to feed your horse, the parts of a horse, breeds, and colours.

Theory lessons are available on days when weather doesn't permit riding and also on a regular basis as requested.

**   Cancellation Policy   **

If you do not phone the stable and inform someone that you wont be at your lesson you will be required to pay a $10 fee.

Cancelling a lesson is fine providing you give notice at least 24 hours in advance.

This policy is strictly enforced as you've booked time which another student could have had. This applies to all lessons;  riding or theory.

Co-Boarding

Co-boarding is basically like leasing a horse, this option is great for students who already know the basics and would just like to spend more time around horses. This lets you have more riding time, as well as get the chance to look after a horse on your own.

This is something we suggest to all riders to try before they think about buying their own horse, it gives you an idea of what horse ownership is like without the added costs of keeping it.

For students looking to progress in their riding much faster without investing in more lessons this is definately the best option to get more practice time in.

$175 a month includes one lesson and one free ride per week.
$225 a month includes one lesson and two free rides per week.
Most of the lesson horses are available for co-board.
